As we begin and end the final week of the season.... Only the NL playoff picture is clear. St. Louis will get the Bye while LA Dodgers will face off with the Arizona Diamondbacks for the wildcard. In the AL, the 2 time, Reigning, Defending, Undisputed, World Series Champion, Detroit Tigers will get the undeniable #1 and the bye while seeds 2 and 3 are still up for grabs between The Twins, The Yankees, and to some, a pretty big surprise in the Toronto Blue Jays. Please remember the rules for playoff rosters. Any team not in the playoffs for the world series is locked from making ANY ADDS OR DROPS. mlb-dynastysports.proboards.com/thread/84/rostersALSO, please remember those in the co solation playoffs still have a HUGE PRIZE to play for..... The winner of the conaolation playoffs being awarded the #1 pick in the rookie draft. And finally, the winner of each of the 9 cobsolation games (3 games per round, 3 rounds, 3 winners per round= 9 total winners.) Will receive a consolation draft pick in the minors draft. Thanks guys. And GOOD LUCK!

Just to clarify, I can't pick anyone up even if I have a DL move?

Yes you can. Thats the only time its allowed. If you have a player on your roster that is injured and is not playing (DL would fit this description), you just have to post it as an an FAB and its an instant add. DTD is different. If a player is DTD, he cant be moved. This also is only in effect for playoff teams. Teams in the consolation bracket are NOT allowed to make any moves. Any move made by a playoff team will be reversed as soon as the playoffs end. Does this make sense?

Makes Sense. I just wanted to make sure I could add someone in the consolation playoffs if I had a dl since a win there gets me a drAft pick

Only teams in the playoffs for the championship can make adds or drops for injury purposes. Consolation playoff teams CANNOT make any moves. You play with the team you have.

Why call it the consolation playoffs and have actual rewards for winning games if you can't make any moves when a player gets injured? That's a terrible rule. Isn't the point of having a consolation playoff to make those games matter?

Its in the rules. Its BEEN in the rulea. If anyone has an issue it can be brought up in the offseason.

Just because it's BEEN in the rules does not make it a good rule. I'll go ahead and recommend we revisit that in the offseason. Calm down man. I'm not requesting it be changed in the next 2 days for playoff time.

I look at it like this we can't win the league why take a player from a team that can. I mean my team is bad but I'm building with young controllable guys I've picked up now to help me next year. So not picking guys up makes sense to me. We r playing for draft picks not the championship so just roll with what we have is prolly how it should b even if I'm in the minority.

Everything will be completely updated by tomorrow morning with the playoffs set up and consolation games set up.
Remember that all 9 consolation game winners receive a compenation pick in the compensation round of the minors draft and the team with the best record or potentially tie break winner reciving the #1 pick in he 2018 rookie draft.
Good luck to all.
