1. New York Yankees- 12-9 Old Yankees ownership began the season 0-4 but new ownership picked up just before the start of week 5 and ran the remaining 17 weeks with a 12-5 record.
2. Toronto Blue Jays- 10-11 Ownership for the Blue Jays had a weird offseason. Most will recall ownership buying into a bunch of expensive players.. Then selling them all.. Followed by trying to buy in again.. Only to quit weeks before the season. This team was in complete disarray before new ownership took over and nearly led the team to a .500 record.
3. Arizona Diamondbacks- 14-7 Some thought this was the team to beat while others felt this team had alot of work to do. Ranked in the middle of the road in the preseason, Arizona Was led to a top 4 performance (as a team) and unluckily bounced out of the playoffs in the 1st round.
4. Minnesota Twins- 12-9 Some thought this team would be better but due to the consistent injuries, 12-9 seemed like a good finish nevertheless. Not to mention the big round 1 comeback against the Nee York Yankees in tbe playoffs.
