Week 5 Matchup Predictions Slade had the NL sent in sunday night, and i havent looked at anyones scores aside from my own (which i insta wished i hadnt looked at either), so while im doing these tuesday afternoon, i have no idea what games look like thus far.
Minnesota (29-23-4) v Tampa Bay (31-22-4) Easy call for most, Minnesota has been the epitome of inconsistent. Hitters will have the best day of their careers monday and then go 0 for the remainder of the week. Tampas bats have struggled as well, and still look like all stars next to this Twins team. Look for the Twins to roll and over and take every inch in week 5. Winner: Tampa Bay 10-2-2
Boston (27-23-6) v Toronto (19-34-3) We here at the predictions company see this one being close for a good part of the week, but 1 team prevailing. It could truly be either side.. But we feel Boston has the fire power to pull out the sneaky W. Winner: Boston (8-5-1)
Kansas City (27-26-3) v New York (22-28-6) My upset of the week lies in this matchup. Tough to call any win in the AL an upsrt eith how close the entire AL is playing right now. But KC has been real hot with his band of misfit FA players and we think they are due for a week of regression. New York reeled in a big fish this week in Jacob Degrom. He will be a factor this week as we see a simple upset that vaults New York a spot, maybe 2 up the standings. Winner: New York (9-5)
National League
Los Angeles (39-13-4) VS Chicago (28-25-3)
Look for the Cubs pitching to make this a close one, but the Dodgers bring a balanced attack that should prevail here.
Winner: Los Angeles (7-5-2)
Colorado (22-32-2) VS Atlanta (30-19-7)
The strength of Colorado bats will prove to be the difference-maker in what could figure to be week 5 nailbiter.
Winner: Colorado (7-6-1)
Arizona (19-35-2) VS St. Louis (18-32-6)
The rebuild is in session for the Cardinals. The new, young talent has provided a breath of fresh air, but as with any rebuild, the true potential of this team lies in the future. Arizona, coming off an upset of the Cubs in week 4, look to continue their resurgence this week.
Winner: Arizona (9-4-1)

Well. With 2 days remaining in the week.. I made dome decent calls. Boston v Toronto is close, and while it could flip, i picked the wrong team to ahve the edge. So far im nearly spot on with NY v KC and i am very incorrect on TB v MIN. Of all games to be wrong.. Im happy with TB v MIN lmao.
