This year its tough to show the difference between 2017 and 18. So I used a combo of W/L Records and CATs. Looks a bit skewed when you see W/L record but we all know what these 2 teams did as far as CATs go an they both were in playoffs after dreadful years last season.
Atlanta Braves 2017: 6-15 2018: 8-12-1 (1st round loss in Playoffs to Chicago, via Tiebreaker) The Braves made their playoff appearance despite not leading the League in any categories. They sat top 6 in 5 of 7 Pitching Cats, those being K, QS, W, SV, and WHIP
Chicago Cubs 2017: 8-13 2018: 11-10 (World Series Appearance (5-7-2 L to TB) Cubs Lead the League in SB, ERA, WHIP, and sat 2nd in AVG and SVs.
