These may both be unpopular, but i have 2 suggestions.
1. A cap on minors rosters. I personally think we could make it 75 and never have an issue. My thought behind it is the standard 25 man roster for AAA, AA, and Single-A. Of course we dont document it that way, that's just how i view it.
2. End Draft pick trading I just think it would be better for everyone if we haulted pick trading at the end of this offseason. It would ensure teams build their farms in the future and make the drafts, along with all around league play, more strategic.

I like the idea of capping minors rosters at 75. Honestly, when it gets close to 75 you probably have a bunch of deadbeats you've drafted that can just be dropped anyways.
I don't like the idea of ending draft pick trading unless we get rid of the franchise tag. No good free agents ever actually make it to free agency in this league because of the tag, so the minors and rookie drafts are your only hopes of getting superstars. Because of that, teams without a superstar are always going to value minors and rookie picks a lot higher than someone with superstars on their team. If we are taking away being able to stockpile rookie and minors picks, I think we need to get rid of the franchise tag too.

I really don’t like the idea of not being able to trade picks, I mean shit, sometimes a pick is needed just to sweeten the deal on a trade to pull in pieces needed to fulfill your roster. I think trading picks adds to trading strategy and should be left alone. I’m fine with a minor roster cap though, as long as you can just drop specs from the roster at your leisure.

Also another thought on the trading picks discussion, this would significantly hinder rebuilds. I can speak from personal experience since I joined the league taking over a team that had never made playoffs and was pretty awful. When I joined I went full rebuild and “sold” most of my star players and was able to pull in a lot of draft picks, causing me to create a stellar farm system (crucial for any rebuild). Had we not been able to trade draft picks I feel my team would still be struggling.

You can already drop them at your leisure.. Just gotta post it.

Okay then I’m on board for a limit on prospect rosters. Didn’t know it was already that way considering there is no point to drop a prospect at this point haha

Like tyler said above, by the time anyone reaches 75, you should have guys that either wont ever reach the majors or are even out of the league 😂

I am in 3 other dynasty leagues and we cap at 30 , if we ever do decide to expand this league I don’t think it is gonna work with minors rosters that big . In my 2 of my other leagues we have 25 minors and 5 low minors , once promoted from the low minors to the 25 man roster they cannot go back and the low minors roster can only be added to front the draft, the 25 man roster can be added to from the draft or during the season u can claim any minor spec that was not drafted in previous drafts , obviously this would eliminate our minors draft but would certainly make the minors pool deeper .... back to expansion tho it would seem like a daunting task to add a new team and expect them to ever compete from a building perspective if they start at 0 specs and we have 75,
I agree to trading of picks , as was mentioned sometimes the trade of a future spec is what sweetens the pot in the trade

We wont be expanding at any point. Too much of a headache and theres no way it would work out without the majority of the league hating it.

agreed on not expanding. The only way it works out in major sports is because the owners giving up players get actual money to compensate them for hating giving up players. you could always try that if you wanted to expand. haha!
