Wanted to see what the league thought about the FA Draft. I think 3 rounds is too many. I Would like the league to consider reducing it to 1 or 2 rounds, or even doing away with it. I personally would like to see more emphasis on FAB. I like the idea of dropping it to 1 round. Id like to hear others thoughts.
Theoretically, whatever is decided wont go into effect til at least 2021. We already distributed 2021 picks but i dont believe any have changed teams. So thats another factor that would be discussed depending on whats decided.

With this suggestion... Im also not opposed to increasing the rookie draft as well.

Honestly I don’t dislike the FA draft because there is some strategy that goes into it.....if you pick up a guy in the FAB you don’t have any obligation to him at the end of the season, where in the FA draft you have to think about his future contract obligations vs benefits to your team. But I could live with dropping it to two rounds if that suits everybody else.

I personally like the FA Draft but if it was dropped to 2 rounds ok that’s good but dropping it all together I’m against. If u do any kind of homework or strategy u can build a decent team and find good players with good contacts as well

I might be one of the few here, but I like the idea of only one round of FA draft. I think this will bring a much needed increase in value to FA picks. I also think this will bring us closer to what free agency is actually like, the highest bidder gets the player in FAB. I get it’s not their actual salary but it brings the free agent feel of trying to “pull in” a coveted free agent. With this being said, I don’t think any change should come into affect until all tradable picks have come and passed.

I find no issue with reduction of the FA draft to one or two rounds.
