So recently a few minors players have reached long term extensions. My question to the league is: how should we deal with these when teams call the player up?
Should they still be able to pay em .5 while on the minors bench and waiting for them to eclipse the prospect AB/IP threshold? Or should they have to assume the contract when called up to the minors bench.

To me I say they assume the contract when they come up to the minors bench I may b in the minority but if they r in the MLB then we should keep to their contract like a regular player is. If they come up then they can go on the minors bench but the contract should b at least half of the salary for that year. I.e. if this years contract is $4 million you can put his salary at $2 million.

I would prefer we keep it simple with all minors bench contracts at $0.5M.

Well to me it is like deferring the contract , if they sign , u pay em when u call em up , plus guys like Bregman have eclipsed the rookie minimum for at bats anyways , but I think once they are past the rookie limits for at bats and innings pitched the owner should assume the contract
