So 2 years ago we added the consolation round to this draft trying to distribute more prospects to teams prospect rosters. We have reached a point where the minors draft doesnt have a ton to offer the league. I propose that we reduce the minors draft at some point in the near future to 2 rounds and we move the consolation round to the rookie draft.
I'll have to look at how far out minors picks have been traded and we can go from there. This wouldnt be implemented in this draft and it's unlikely for next year. But I think we need to do this sooner than later. Thoughts?

I personally love the minors draft at 3 rounds, but I get I’m the only one because I own most of the picks in the 3rd round 😂. I’m good either way

I like the 2 rounds idea. Plus it has a little bigger impact on the trade market

Just to clarify. I’m good if we change it to 2 rounds. I like having 3, but almost everyone traded me their 3rd round picks. I think that probably signals what the league as a whole thinks about it
