Alright boys, looks like baseball is coming back. Of course, a 60 game season doesnt allow us to run a normal schedule. So I need thoughts and ideas as to what we should do. Assuming the MLB season will run about 10 weeks, if we do our league the way we normally do, we can run 7 weeks of season play and 3 weeks for playoffs, 8 weeks of season play and a minimized 2 weeks of playoffs or my proposal which would be a one time thing, we do the full season rotisserie style. I personally dont care for roto but I feel like that will be a good way to go this season and itll be the best way to figure our draft orders for next year.
Another concern i have for this season is players not playing. I would like to propose that any player that opts not to play can be exempt from your roster for the season and their salary doesnt count against your cap. Now I'm not suggesting anyone can just free drop those players. But they would essentially be set aside and in the offseason brought back on to your roster at which time you would need to make room for them under your salary cap.
Let's hear thoughts and ideas.

I like the idea of exempt players if they opt out of playing.
I'm good with any of the season schedules you proposed. They'll all be a crap shoot, but at least it looks like we'll have some baseball!.
