I've been thinking about how we should do the IL and the whole reason teams have to wait til opening day for IL moves is fairness. Fairness, because some ML don't move their players to IL as early as others and its not really fair that we be held at the mercy of a RL team and lose out during the offseason while nothings going on. I just never felt that was fair.
With that said, I also don't want to make people feel the need to make moves at noon tomorrow when opening day games start. So what I think we'll do in the future is make it so that midnight is the threshold where you can start adding players to the Injured List. My thought is, if teams are add players to IL at midnight, as an example, they get a 12 hour head start but 12 hours is nothing in a 24 hour window to make a bid on FAB. Also, midnight will the final point of offseason Bidding. So after midnight, bidding goes to just the one phase. Where its a free for all and the bid that holds for 24 hours is the winner.
In a nutshell, tonight at midnight, teams will become eligible to make IL moves and offseason FAB ends and we are off to the races!!
Any other questions, please let me know!
Good luck everyone!!

Just confirming that we have to wait until teams put players on the IL to make the move ourselves right? So players already added on the IL like Syndergaard will be eligible in our league, but players like Soroka who have not been added officially yet will need to wait until their team makes the move official?

Correct. They are only IL eligible if they are marked as IL on espn fantasy.
